Last updated: 15 October 2026.
About us and how to reach us
House Construction London is a trading name of Web Designer Limited (company number 15002899, registered in England & Wales; registered office: 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST). That company decides how and why your personal data is used, so it is the data controller. You can write to us at 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST (our registered office), or use the enquiry form and mention “privacy” so your message reaches the right person.
Personal data we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you type in: name, email, postcode, the kind of job, your message and whether you ticked the consent box. Our host also handles connection data such as your IP address and browser type so pages load securely. Please leave out sensitive information such as health details.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to arrange a survey or quote. Where we pass your enquiry to an independent tradesperson so they can quote, we share only what they need to contact you about that job. Under UK GDPR we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and on our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and running our business (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell them.
Recipients of your data
We share personal data with a small number of recipients: FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards enquiries to us as our processor and may process them outside the UK under the safeguards UK law requires; Cloudflare, which hosts this site; the independent tradesperson quoting for your job; and anyone we must share it with by law.
Cookies
None for tracking: we run no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies on this website.
How long your data is kept
Enquiries are deleted no later than 2 years after we last heard from you, unless a legal obligation means we must hold them for longer.
Your data protection rights
- See a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Have it corrected or deleted.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Take it with you (portability).
Ask using the contact routes above and you will get a response within one month.
If you are not happy
We would like to hear from you first if something has gone wrong. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) also accepts complaints about how organisations use personal data.
